Dr Aditya Gautam is a certified endocrinologist with a D.M. degree in Endocrinology in Guwahati. He is a superspecialist and treats diabetes and endocrinology disorders in both adults and children. He finished MBBS and MD General Medicine degree from JIPMER (INI), Pondicherry. He obtained his DM Endocrinology degree from Amrita Institute of Medical Sciences, Kochi.
He is trained in the advanced management of adult and pediatric endocrinological conditions like Diabetes Mellitus, Thyroid cancer , Thyroid disorders, Disorders of Sexual differentiation, Congenital adrenal hyperplasia, Growth disorders, Paediatric obesity, Adolescent and transitional endocrinology, Adrenal, Pituitary (medical management of Multiple Pituitary hormone deficiencies and disorders), Neuro endocrine disorders, Bone disorders( Osteoporosis, rickets, fibrous dysplasias, BMD scans interpretation etc), management of hypogonadism in both males and females, delayed and precocious puberty, PCOS, early Menopause, hormone replacement therapy and transgender health
He is also competent in the comprehensive management of endocrine disorders of syndromic patients like Prader-Willi syndrome, Turner syndrome, Downs syndrome, Russel silver syndrome etc.
He has proficient in Thyroid ultrasonography and FNAC, having performed over 1000 thyroid ultrasounds and 250-300 FNACs independently. He has worked closely with Podiatry surgeons in the fields of preventive podiatry and as well as active management of diabetic foot infections and chronic foot problems
